HopDesk
Your local could be your office
HopDesk connects remote and hybrid workers with welcoming pubs and venues that have space to spare during the day. Good Wi-Fi, a proper welcome, and a reason to get out of the house. We are building it right now, and you can be in from the start...

Run a pub or venue with quiet daytime tables? HopDesk fills them with friendly remote workers who buy coffee, lunch and the occasional pint while they work. Your space earns its keep all day, not just in the evening.
Become a Hopper
Tired of the same four walls? Work from a proper local instead. Find venues with reliable Wi-Fi, power at the table and a warm welcome, and help save your local while you are at it.
How it will work
This is what we are building right now. The community hears about each piece as it lands.
For HopSpots
- 1
Sign up and set up your venue profile: photos, facilities and your HopDesking hours.
- 2
Set up your HopDesk zone with the printable QR signage we generate for you.
- 3
Watch the check-ins arrive, and turn quiet daytime tables into regulars.
For Hoppers
- 1
Find a HopSpot on the map: somewhere nearby with proper Wi-Fi, power and a designated place to work.
- 2
Walk in and scan the QR code on the HopDesk zone signage to check in.
- 3
Buy your coffee at the bar as normal and settle in. Workers never pay HopDesk anything.
Join the community
Be first to hear when a HopDesk opens near you. Expect roughly one update a month while we build, and you can leave the list whenever you like.
Privacy notice
The community is run by HopDesk Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15063595, which is the data controller for the information you give us here.
When you join the community we collect your email address and whether your interest is as a worker or a venue. We use them for one thing: emailing you about the HopDesk community and launch. The lawful basis is your consent, which the form asks for explicitly, and we record what you agreed to and when.
We store your details securely with our database provider in the United Kingdom and share them with no one else, other than the email service that delivers our messages. We keep them until HopDesk launches and you decide whether to create an account, or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first.
You can withdraw consent, ask for a copy of your data, or ask for it to be deleted at any time by emailing hopdeskhere@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
